Cambiare has recently added exhaust gas temperature (EGTS) sensors to their range.
There is over 70 parts in range – all manufactured to provide the highest level of accuracy and reliability in extreme conditions. All parts have a 2 year or 30,000 mile warranty.
See below for how an EGTS works and application highlights.
How does an EGTS sensor work?
Exhaust gas temperature sensors monitor exhaust temperature during Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration and can help prevent thermal overload. The EGTS is typically connected to the DPF.
Failure to replace a defective EGTS may result in an obstructed filter and possible engine damage.
