Brake Light Switch
An electrical switch, operated either mechanically or hydraulically when the brakes are applied, that causes the brake lights to light up.
Brake Light Switches are otherwise known as:
-Stop Light Switches.

Clutch Control Switch
Used on vehicles with cruise control – when the clutch is depressed the switch notifies the ECU to disengage the cruise control function.
Cruise Control Switches are otherwise known as:
-Clutch Operation Switches
-Cruise Control Switches

Door Light Switch
An electrical switch operated either mechanically or hydraulically when the car door is opened. This causes the door lights to light up.
Door Light switches are otherwise known as:
-Interior Light switches.

Oil Pressure Switch
The Oil Pressure Switch monitors the oil pressure within the engine and will warn the driver of insufficient oil pressure via an indicator lamp in the dashboard.
Oil Pressure Switches are otherwise known as:
-Oil Pressure Sensors
-Oil Pressure Transmitters

Radiator Fan Switch
This switch turns on the electric fan mounted on the radiator to cool the engine at a pre-determined temperature.

Reverse Light Switch
An electrical switch, operated either mechanically or hydraulically when the reverse gear is applied, that causes the reverse light to light up.

Temperature Switch
The transmitter works with a calibrated gauge on the dashboard to report the temperature in the engine.
