Throttle Bodies

Part of the air intake system, the throttle body regulates the amount of air flowing into the engine. Usually located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, the throttle body uses a large metal plate to control the amount of air flowing into the system. When the accelerator pedal is depressed the plate rotates to allow more air into the system.
